Polyimide Film for Electrical Insulation and Industrial Converting

Polyimide film is a thin, uncoated engineering film selected for applications requiring electrical insulation, mechanical strength and stability under demanding processing conditions. Our J-6302 Polyimide Film is available in eight thicknesses from 25 μm to 200 μm, allowing industrial buyers to balance flexibility, tensile strength and insulation build.

Typical converting applications include motor and transformer insulation components, wire and cable insulation layers, die-cut barriers and spacers, flexible circuit-related laminates, and backing material for subsequent coating or lamination. Suitability for a specific electrical system, flexible circuit, automotive or aerospace application must be confirmed using the required dielectric, thermal-aging and dimensional-stability criteria.

J-6302 is supplied as polyimide film without pressure-sensitive adhesive. For PCB solder masking, powder-coating protection, temporary bonding or applications requiring removable adhesion, please select a suitable product from our Polyimide Adhesive Tape range instead.

For B2B selection, buyers should specify the required film thickness, width, roll length, processing temperature, application environment and annual quantity. Where applicable, dielectric strength, thermal shrinkage, coefficient of thermal expansion, chemical resistance and compliance documentation should also be reviewed before approval.
